We have no shame.
Clearly.
I mean, how many ad agencies do you know that have a coupon offer of a free lunch with their president…on Google no less? Well, on Friday, when we put this lovely gem of a coupon together, we were pretty amused. Problem is, most people probably won’t see it. Finding this coupon, is like looking for a hit on a Nickelback album. I digress.
We came across this idea when we checked out Google’s Local Business Services the other day. Good stuff overall, as it allows you to give some basic information about your company within the Google Maps application.
Here’s the path to get there. Search Lessing-Flynn on the Google Maps page. Then click coupons below.
And there you have it. A greasy burger and the Lessing-Flynn offer. My guess is that this is the first time anyone outside of this office has actually seen this.
So, while offering the free coupon service is a nice touch by Google, it’d be a lot cooler if people could actually find it. And maybe that’s the point. More reasons to spend ad dollars on Google because of their ineffective coupon system. Then again, if our president is booked for lunch the next few weeks I might take a closer look at all of the packages and programs that Google offers local businesses. That, or maybe our president can take Google to lunch.
