Classic post, Josh!

And, Michael, I'm sure if you came back to Des Moines, the social media strong would make you feel right at home (State Troopers or not).

Thanks to both of you for keeping this conversation "social." It shows that the true spirit of social media is "Strength in numbers." Whether we're in Iowa or North Carolina (where I have relatives by-the-way), the sole purpose is to keep our communities growing and learning.

Thanks so much, Josh, for including me in the Central Iowa social media featurette, too. I'm honored!

Keep Cooking (great conversation)

Guitars and Cadillacs is no longer open, but there's a place called Miss Kitty's that serves up club music and country. Line dancing lessons and great drink prices too. http://misskittysusa.com/index.html

But if you have not been to Iowa (especially the Des Moines area in the past five years, you would not even recognize the place. It's awesome. We'd love to have you come up and visit.

What I'm dieing to know is if Guitars & Cadillac's is still open! If it is - that's where I want to meet up! That and if the state trooper who gave us a lift back from Saylorville Lake and hooked us up with food, drinks and lodging is still there! (see - I told you I had some good stories to share other than Youtube cornfield videos :) )

Nice work group - I enjoyed it - and of course, posted an update to our blog reflecting it at http://www.mediatwopointoh.com/warning-unprofessionalism-in-social-media/.

In all seriousness, in my younger years I made a weekend trip to Des Moines with a buddy of mine and some roller blades and a backpack. We met some of the nicest people, and had one of the best weekends ever! If you're ever in the Raleigh area, or we hook up at some of the trade shows, we'll share stories.

Thanks for the entertainment this week! I enjoyed it. ~Michael
