Ag Leader Technology Kicks off 2010!

by Jess Held on December 22, 2009

“Maverick missing in action?” “Where the Held ya been?” “Share some blog love, Jess!” Just a few of the jabs I’ve received the past few weeks from fellow Ad Mavericks.  I have actually had the pleasure and opportunity to work onsite with two clients who have recently hosted year end meetings.

2009 has been an eventful year for LF client, Ag Leader Technology! During the past six weeks the company has launched a new website, opened a state of the art, 25,000 square foot training facility, launched six new products as well as hosted an incredible media event and first time dealer meeting which was attended by over 200 Ag Leader Dealers!

Highlights of the week long event, Dec 7 – 10, included:
Key editor visits from 16 local and national publications
Ribbon cutting ceremony for Ag Leader Academy
Hands-On product demos
Guest speaker Matt Darr,  Iowa State Agricultural Engineer
Guest speaker Scott McKain,  best selling author, “The Collapse of Distinction”
Presentation by Al Myers, Founder and President, Ag Leader Technology

Dealer and media feedback has been excellent following the event.  There is no way to showcase your company brand or the people of an organization the way a well planned onsite event can. This event no doubt helped build relations with the media, strengthen relationships with the Ag Leader dealers and generated great excitement about the new products for 2010. Check out the video!

Also, read some of the media coverage of the event from Precision Pays, Farm Journal, The Ames Tribune and The Des Moines Register.

Well done Ag Leader!  Thanks for letting us be a part of such a big week!

Oh yeah! The Ag industry is ramping up with all of the cool things they are starting to do. I love it! I really do. :-) Great job to the LF crew for all you are doing to work with clients in the Ag industry.

I had to add another comment. LOL! I love how Ag Leader took the reins and opened a facility dedicated to providing the agriculture industry with specialized, hands-on training of precision farming systems. Precision farming solutions is really starting to increase in usage by farmers and giving them the ability to learn how to use them effectively is such a great benefit. For Ag Leader to take the leadership charge on this training initiative goes to show they care about farmers learning how to use precision farming to the best of their ability. I have been around the Ag industry long enough to see when farmers are given help on how to use products, it can go a long way to them giving loyalty to the company that helped them.

Hat tip to Ag Leader for doing this. And a hat tip to Lessing Flynn for working with them.
