Announcing Lessing-Flynn’s Battle of the Brands II

by AdMavericks on June 30, 2011

Year two and we’re pumped to announce the field of 65 Iowa brands competing for Iowa Brand Supremacy!

Last year we saw record traffic and over 30,000 votes from Iowans passionate about their favorite local brands. We’ll be posting more information as July 18 draws near, but in the meantime, enjoy this tasty preview video that puts that turtle crap we did last year to shame. (At least we think so!)

We’ve decided that you can only win this thing once, so Iowa Clinic will take their places in the made up Iowa Brand Hall of Fame we haven’t created yet.

I’m at a loss for words……

The Dougie impersonators had me rolling! Well played LF!

Glad all enjoyed the video. I always look to make an impression when I am called upon to be in a LF video. Maybe I need to be the head instructor at Le Krappe to teach people how to me….I mean, Dougie.

I love John Deere July 27, 2011 at 10:01 am

How is it that John Deere Financial makes it into this contest, but John Deere doesn’t? How do we nominate John Deere?

All of the brands included in the Battle of the Brands are based in Iowa. Since John Deere is based in Moline, Illionois they were not included.

I guess an argument could made that Wells Fargo is based in San Francisco but they are such a huge part of the Iowa community that we included them. There may be other arguments as well.

Thanks for chiming in and checking out the Battle of the Brands.
