That’s a Wrap: Farm Progress Show 2012

by KyleeWillard on September 10, 2012

With the convenience of the Boone, Iowa location, a few of the AdMavericks ventured to the 2012 Farm Progress Show to pay a visit and provide any additional support to clients.

After parking, making the hike from our vehicle to the show entrance, flashing our Farm Progress Show badges and stepping through the admission gate, we had arrived and so our adventure began…

Put on your walking shoes. Here we go!

First, we were drawn to the seriously elevated Kinze grain cart hovering, what seemed like 50-feet, above our heads. Jess, Emily and I poked around the booth searching for familiar Kinze faces, took a picture or two then were off to the next stop. We tracked over to visit with Iowa Corn and tried our hand at the automated ethanol gas pump. From there, we hung a left on Vermeer Street and made our way to the forage specialists. We gazed at the Vermeer 605 Super M baler and VR1428 rake, said our hellos then began our precision ag venture.

First stop, AgLeader Technology. We chatted, checked out the interactive display and grabbed a bottle water then were off to find the MyWay RTK folks. (Literally, we found the MyWay RTK folks in the Varied Industries Tent – around 9700’s booth.) After a nice little chat in the middle of a people-packed, traffic-jammed aisle, we were on pursuit again.

We cruised across – completely across – the show grounds to see our new buddies at Soil-Max and their new, super sweet decals, teardrop flags and apparel. Their saying “Dirty Work Pays” pegged just how we felt walking out of the farm show – dirty but the hard work paid off.

Props to all Lessing-Flynn clients. You make us proud!

*Note: I am new here. However, you can rest assured. More details about me are coming soon-ish. Stay tuned.
